Old Business:
  1. Committee Report:
    1. Safety: Jerry H. Jr. - No reports of violations.
    2. Lawn and grounds care: David C. - Bob M. reported that sterilant for the weeds is going to be purchased and seeded on the snow. The sterilant should be good for five years. $400 is the estimate cost.

  5. Indoor Flying - Jerry H. Jr. - The Ontario Middle School gym (old gym) is open every Saturday at noon until about 5PM. About 15 - 20 people, members and visitors have been coming. R/C fix wing, helio's, cars and etc have been operating. Bob A. gave a demonstration to illustrate the consequences of flying a foam fix wing too close to a operating helio, instant packing material.
  6. Christmas Party - The results were a great success. About 32 people attended. The gift exchange was made without injuries or hurt feelings. People liked the Sizzler for the simplicity of getting the meal you want and sitting down.
  7. Polar Bear Fun Fly - Lynn H. - Jan. 2, 2010 - The Fun Fly was held. The fog was intense. Even the birds were not flying. Lynn had everything set up. Hot chili, very good, hot chocolate, crackers, brownies etc. Lynn was the first flying attempt into the soup (fog). His plane took off and before he could turn to keep it in sight, the fog swallowed it up. A minute later we couldn't hear it any more. While we were waiting for Lynn's mouth to close, two members grabbed a basket to see if they could find it. They did. We told Lynn to turn around for it was too very hard to look at when they came back with the basket and the casualty. The next flyer was Bob A. He took off great but turned right when he should have turned left. He joined Lynn's plane. David C. and Jerry H. Jr. showed off, I mean flew successfully. Jerry H. Sr. and Jerry H. Jr.Jr.(grandson) did a short take off and landing and Cliff M. flew a bi-wing rubber band glider, others flew as the weather permitted. Attendee's were: Cliff M., Bob M., Richard K., Bob A., Lynn H., Clint Mc., Dave C., Jerry H.Sr., Jr., Jr.Jr., Jeff D., Scott P., Ken S., Randy C., Jim S., visitors: Jack Reed, Rex Sperry, Larry Brisson, Bob Wilhelm, and Tim Cooper.
