Simulators and flight instructors will be available to instruct propective pilots. Invite all aviation interested people you can. A novice rubber band powered plane race will be held also. It was approved that Dave C. be authorized to spend up to $35 for the planes.

  6. Other New Business:
    1. Mower grass catcher repair: Dave C. and Cal C. have welded a hitch to it so it can be towed behind the mower. Richard P. is looking into getting a proper fabric replacement.
    2. After the meeting while Bob A. was flying his new biplane a storm came up causing great turbulance. But Bob successfully landed (a three point landing) his plane safely inspite of the storm. Some of the spectators thought that the aircraft was out control due to pilot errors. However this was comfirmed to be an erroneous report and rumor immediatedly by the pilot after the successful landing and that he (Bob) was totally in control of the plane no matter what it looked like (nobody believes rumors anyway), so Bob's stirling flight and landing record is still untarnished no matter what anybody says.
  7. Next meeting: September 2, 2009.
  8. The meeting was adjourned

Respectfully Submitted as related to me by Bob A. who took copious notes in my absence (thank you Bob).
